We are delighted to share that Dermot G. O’Donovan Solicitors has achieved an outstanding 98% Gold Standard – Year 9 in the Q9000 audit and accreditation programme.

The Q9000 is the highest level of legal quality accreditation in Ireland and is awarded following an independent audit of a firm’s systems, procedures and risk-management practices.

Achieving this result reflects the work involved in maintaining high standards across areas such as client and file management, regulatory and claims management, IT security and GDPR, practice and systems management, financial management, strategic planning and innovation and knowledge management.

It also requires documented policies and procedures, evidence of consistent compliance and review during audit, including inspection of a random selection of files and engagement with key members of the firm.

This result is a testament to the commitment of everyone across the firm to delivering legal services to the highest professional standard. We are proud of this achievement and grateful to our team for the dedication that made it possible.

Dermot G. O’Donovan Solicitors first obtained accreditation with ISO almost 20 years ago. In 2018 we obtained Q9000 legal quality certification and have consistently achieved high scores every year since then. We are pleased to again have improved our score and wish to thank all of the staff who have worked hard to ensure that we maintain the highest standards in Dermot G. O'Donovan Solicitors.

Margaret Irwin and Muiris Gavin are responsible for risk management in Dermot G. O'Donovan Solicitors and ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented within the firm and that all members of staff are trained and compliant with our systems, procedure and policies.
