Muiris Gavin

Muiris joined the firm in 2000 having previously worked for PWC Ireland in their taxation department and qualifying as a tax consultant.

 

Muiris has experience of advising on all aspects of Commercial Property, Banking, Insolvency and Restructuring. Muiris has advised on Acquisitions, Disposals, Financing and Property Investment on behalf of state and semi state companies, financial institutions, corporate and individual clients, partnerships and in relation to international property transactions.

Muiris’s experience has also involved the planning and delivery of legal advice in the areas of Child Care, Mental Health, Disability, Public Regulation, Statutory Complaints and other alternative dispute resolution processes, community care, statutory and non-statutory enquiries. He specialises in all aspects of child care law and is the lead prosecuting solicitor for TUSLA (The Child and Family Agency) in Limerick City.

Muiris also has significant experience in relation to Criminal Law and Juvenile Criminal Justice and has experience of acting in criminal cases in the District Court, the Circuit Court and the Central Criminal Court. He also regularly prosecutes in the District Court and Circuit Court for various state agencies.
