Court Representation

 

• Corporate Crime 

 

We give guidance to employers where there are alleged breaches of law or codes in the workplace. Often such breaches are detected following inspections by the Health and Safety Authority, Local Authority planning department or NERA for example. We will explain the consequences of and possible exposure of a conviction and examine the evidence and advise you of any defence that open to you. In circumstances where guilt is to be admitted we strive to assist the employer in working with the authority to make good the breach to avoid a prosecution or reduce the penalty on conviction

• Family Law

 

We provide advice to clients who are involved in family law disputes and provide representation in the District, Circuit and High Courts in relation to a wide variety of contested family law matters.

 

• Road Traffic Offences

 

We give advice to clients who are the subject of criminal investigation and represent clients in the defence of all types of criminal prosecutions. We have particular expertise in advising in relation to and defending road traffic offences and regularly defend persons in cases of drink driving, speeding and driving without insurance. We also represent commercial vehicle drivers and their employers where they are faced with offences brought by the Gardai and the Road Safety Authority including overweight loads, defective vehicles failing to take rest periods.

• Other Criminal Offences 

 

We are a member of the Criminal Legal Aid panel and we represent individuals, corporate offenders and young persons in the District, Circuit, Central Criminal Court and Court of Criminal Appeal.
